Here are Hebrew phrase concordances,
based on the consonantal text of the Hebrew Bible. The concordances are for
individual books, blocks of material within a book, or multiple books. The
sorting is from the BACK of the phrase, not the front. I realize that this
sounds weird, but it actually works better with Hebrew to search from the back
of words than from the front when one is looking for strings of words. This is
especially because one vav or prepositional prefix could skew the data.
Eventually I want to produce lists of the
frequency of phrases in books, and also do comparisons of phrases (e.g.,
Jeremiah and Deuteronomy, the latter part of Judges and the earlier part). My
beta testing on this type of information is initially on English texts of the
NASB, and once I get the programming down I want to apply it to Hebrew (and
possibly Greek).
Be warned that these files are QUITE
LARGE, and printing them would destroy forests!
Eventually I want to produce these so
that they also show a larger context than at present.
