Summer School Class
Well, I'm a gonna take a class I'm a
gonna get myself some credits
Yes, I’m a losing my summer and I’ve
got a few-a regrets
Ev'ry time I call my buddies ask them
what they’re doing next, My prof says
“Three days from now you’ve gotta read
the whole text”
Sometimes I wonder how I’m a-gonna pass
'Cause I ain't got time for this summer
school class
Well, I can’t believe the time I have
to spend in the library
When the only thing I wanna do is just
to the contrary
Well, I didn’t go to class I took a
couple days off
“It’s like a week and a half missed”
said that stupid old prof

'Cause I ain't got time for this summer

It’s a three day weekend comin’ up
around the corner
Gonna have a barbecue now the weather’s
getting warmer
Well, I tried to take the time off, but
I’m so far behind
The study guide a-makes-a-me-a feel-a
so confined
